In Meo Principia Est Mea Finis

"The theory of books is noble. The scholar of the first age received into him
the world around; brooded thereon; gave it the new arrangement of his own mind,
and uttered it again. It came into him, life; it went out from him, truth"
-Ralph Waldo Emerson from The American Scholar

Richard Braithwaite heartily concurs. He would not only apply this concept to
reading and writing, but to teaching. Whether in his literary classes, in his writing, or in
his tutorial sessions, Braithwaite's goal is for everyone involved to feel that life
and learning are rich, exciting endeavors.

For over thirty years, Richard Braithwaite has applied these principles to teaching,
writing, directing, and coaching. The result is a host of former students, actors, and
athletes whose lives are more vivid and more fulfilled.

Braithwaite's literary classes are designed to provide intense intellectual stimulation
for adults who wish to discuss challenging literature. The weekly reading assignments will
be followed by seminar style classes which combine Braithwaite's lectures and class
generated discussion topics.

His tutorial sessions will be conducted one on one, thereby maximizing student success.
The immediate goal will be to raise test scores, but the ultimate goal will always be to
teach students to read, think, write, and problem-solve better. These are the life-long skills
that Braithwaite seeks to inculcate.

"Imagination is more important than knowledge"
-Albert Einstein
